WELCOME...

At last, we met our distinguished guests, GSE Team from D5500, at a welcome dinner at Kordon Hotel in Izmir on Sunday, May 2. We spent a couple of happy hours all together with inbound and outboud GSE teams of D.5500 and D.2110 (Italy-Malta), and had a chance to know each other in person.

At the end of the dinner, the Rotariens and their families took the team members to homes.
Now, it's time to meet with our host families in Arizona. Inbound GSE Chair, dear Dick, informed that he received our excess stuff sent to him with a cargo package. Hope we also arrive after a safe trip.

This is our last meeting before welcoming the GSE Team from D.5500 in Izmir.

Again in Balikesir, at Ayca's home, we came together again, on Sunday afternoon, April 25, to review our check list for our travel to Arizona; everything seems all right for the moment.

You can easily notice that how we're happy.

We all wish a very safe to Turkey for Val's Team. Hope to meet them on May 2 at the welcome dinner at Hotel Kordon.

Time is approaching to fly to Arizona and we're already finishing all our arrangements for this visit. This time we made our meeting in Yasar University in Izmir on Sunday afternoon (at April 4) where Asli and Gamze are working.

Everybody is so excited for meeting a different Rotary world and professional collegaues in their vocations.

Next time we'll be again at Ayca's home at noon time of April 25 in Balikesir. Thenwe'll happy to see Val and her Team in Izmir at the first week of May before our departure.

We met again once more on last Sunday, March 14, at Ayca's house in Balikesir. Unfortunately, Asli were not with us because of her influenza (but I call her today and understand she is much better now).

We revised all of our check list carefully and went through the preparations for our trip. I want to express my special thanks to Gurcan for all his works to design our brochures-visiting cards-name tags, templates for our ppt presentation, etc.

The foods which Ayca served us were excellent...Now, I understand what a right decision we made by choosing such a team member. Thank you Ayca...

We're planning to meet in Izmir next time at the beginning of April.

Welcome to our Blog...

Dear Friends,

I'm happy that time is getting closer day by day to start our exchange visits. I'm sure we know each other from now on through the reciprocal e-mails, and forwarded bios, photos, as well.

I'm grateful to Rtn.Dick, incoming GSE chair, for his arrangements that he is doing for my team.

I can also understand the excitements of team leader Val -with her turkish name Valide Sultan :)) for her team's visit to our District. I want to say Hello and welcome the visiting team of D-5500 at our blog.

We had another meeting last Sunday (28.02.2010) in İzmir in Yasar University for which Gamze and I work. Ayca, our new team member for the place of Gülten, joined us in the meeting. Here is a photo of Ayça.

Our Team in Bursa

We met up in Bursa last Sunday(17.10.2010). First, we had a lovely breakfast in our Team Leader Mr.Tosun's house with his friendly family. Then, it was time to work so Gürcan hosted us in his office.We worked on our presentations and had our photos taken as well.
